Job summary

CEL Critical Power is seeking a Senior PMO Specialist to drive governance, portfolio visibility, and delivery excellence across CEL's strategic initiatives. You will work with Business Systems, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, and Senior Leadership to embed best-practice governance, manage risks, dependencies, resources and budgets across multiple projects and programmes.

This is a high-visibility role central to CEL's growth plan across Ireland and North America.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in PMO, project controls, governance, or portfolio reporting
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, construction, or tech
• Experience supporting ERP, MES, PLM or similar enterprise system projects
• Strong planning, scheduling, dependency management, and portfolio reporting skills
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills; experience with project management tools
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to present complex information clearly to stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence across functions
• Degree in Business, Engineering, PM or related discipline
• Willingness to travel between CEL sites as required
• PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, APM PMQ, or equivalent certification

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve CEL's project governance framework, standards, templates, and stage-gate processes
• Produce and maintain consolidated portfolio dashboards covering schedule, cost, benefits, risks, and performance
• Maintain master portfolio plan and manage dependencies across multiple projects
• Support stakeholders in developing robust project plans and resource-loaded schedules
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and change controls with Finance
• Maintain RAID logs and coordinate risk and issue management
• Drive visibility of project health and escalate risks
• Own and optimise PMO tooling, reporting automation, and data quality
• Coach stakeholders in governance to ensure successful delivery
• Lead lessons learned and continuous improvement across the portfolio
