Job summary

Dexcom Ireland is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage direct and indirect material procurement for its first European manufacturing facility in Athenry. You will collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and Global Procurement to ensure material availability, optimize inventory, and drive supplier performance to scale manufacturing operations.

The role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, supplier negotiations, and adherence to Dexcom quality systems.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of purchasing, inventory management and supply chain processes.
• Ability to analyse demand signals, supplier commitments and inventory positions.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems to manage procurement activities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to deliver results independently.

Responsibilities

• Generate, adjust and expedite purchase orders based on MRP requirements.
• Develop and communicate supplier forecasts for capacity planning.
• Manage procurement for direct and indirect materials.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Planning, Quality and Engineering to ensure supply.
