Job summary

Dexcom Inc. in Ireland seeks a Planning Manager to lead the Athenry Planning team and ensure plans align with demand, capacity and strategic goals. You will coordinate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, Engineering and Finance to deliver on-time, optimized production plans.

You will drive MPS governance, capacity planning and IBP activities while maintaining data integrity in ERP systems and fostering continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; 8–12 years of industry experience.
• 2–5 years of people management experience.
• Experience leading planning in a manufacturing environment.
• APICS / ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Athenry Planning team to support operations and growth.
• Own and govern the site Master Production Schedule (MPS) process.
• Align forecasted demand, supply capability, capacity and inventory strategies.
• Develop, consolidate, communicate and execute production and supply plans.
• Represent site S&O, S&OE and Integrated Business Planning activities.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, Finance and Global Supply Chain.
• Establish finite and rough-cut capacity planning processes for decision making.
• Drive planning maturity, governance and standards adherence.
• Manage planning risks and mitigation for service and production commitments.
• Support new product introductions, site transfers and supply chain transformation.
• Lead inventory optimization across raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
• Develop planning metrics and dashboards for continuous improvement.
• Ensure ERP and planning data integrity and schedule discipline.
• Lead escalation on shortages, capacity constraints and demand changes.
