Job summary

Designer Group seeks an experienced Planning Manager to lead the planning function across a portfolio of high-value M&E projects. Senior role responsible for strategic planning direction, mentoring planners and standardising planning practices.

You will partner with Project Directors, clients and contractors to optimise build strategies, manage risks and drive programme certainty. This is a demanding role in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be resident in Ireland with right to work.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 8+ years planning experience in construction/engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of planners; drive best practice.
• Allocate resources and ensure support for delivery teams.
• Develop detail-rich programmes using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Ensure schedules align with budgets, milestones and contracts.
• Provide planning input for bids and tenders; influence delivery strategies.
