Job summary

Dr. Ekler & Associates Human Resources Development Consultants Ltd. is seeking a Planning & Programme Manager to lead planning standards, governance, and look-ahead forecasting across a portfolio of projects.

You will review tender and execution plans, challenge schedules, and provide clear executive insights. The role requires advanced Primavera P6 skills, robust project controls experience in construction/MEP, and a track record of coordinating cross-functional teams with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Significant planning and project controls experience in construction, MEP, or specialist engineering.
  • Advanced capability in Primavera P6 and/or equivalent professional planning software.
  • Strong understanding of design, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning and handover sequences.
  • Ability to interrogate complex programmes and translate detail into executive-level insight.
  • Experience leading planning reviews, recovery planning and stakeholder discussions.
  • Credible, analytical and collaborative, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Set planning standards, coding structures, reporting cycles and programme governance across projects.
  • Review tender, baseline, procurement, design, manufacturing, construction, commissioning and handover programmes.
  • Challenge logic, sequencing, resource assumptions, critical path and schedule risk.
  • Provide portfolio-level visibility of milestones, constraints, interfaces and recovery priorities.
  • Support project teams in progress measurement, forecasting, look-ahead planning and change control.
  • Lead programme reviews and present clear insights to senior leaders, clients and delivery stakeholders.
  • Develop recovery and acceleration scenarios and support delay analysis where required.
  • Coach planners and project personnel to improve programme ownership and data quality.
  • Integrate planning with commercial, procurement, design, BIM, fabrication and operational reporting.
  • Capture benchmarks and lessons learned to strengthen future tenders and delivery plans.
