Job summary

Elusav Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Senior Planner in Dublin to join a leading engineering contractor. You will develop and manage bid programmes, master schedules and project controls, presenting progress reviews to senior management and leading a team of ambitious engineers.

The role includes client liaison, risk management, and proactive problem solving across pre-construction to commissioning phases. The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering/Construction Management, 5+ years’

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably main contractor.
• Contractor experience.
• Experience in Primavera P6. Excel & Power BI ideally.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop bid programmes to support bid submissions.
• Develop, maintain and review detailed master construction programmes and project controls procedures for live projects.
• Prepare and present progress reviews to senior management.
• Lead, mentor and motivate a team of engineers.
• Account management of existing clients and development of long-term partnerships.
• Business development activities with new clients.
• Own responsibility for projects and assist others as needed.
• Liaise with stakeholders to review progress and identify risks.
• Create schedules for pre-construction, construction and commissioning phases with up-to-date progress reporting.
• Act as Planning representative in client and subcontractor meetings.
