Job summary

Vantage Resources is seeking a Performance Tester for a 12-month contract in South Dublin. You will work with delivery teams to define performance criteria, scope testing activities, and develop scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter.

You will implement complex frontend and backend tests in Java, configure test environments across Windows and UNIX/Linux, and execute loads including soak, stress, and scalability to capture key metrics and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in performance testing.
• Hands-on with LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
• Programming in Java; scripting in Perl and Python.

Responsibilities

• Gather system requirements and performance criteria from delivery teams.
• Define the scope of performance testing activities.
• Write test scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Develop complex scripts for frontend and backend using Java.
• Set up/test environments across Windows and UNIX/Linux.
• Perform Load/Soak/Scalability/Stress tests and capture metrics.
• Monitor performance and recommend improvements.
