Job summary

Vantage Resources is seeking a Test Analyst — Functional for a 12 month contract in Dublin with hybrid work. You will plan, execute and manage diverse testing activities across manual, integration and UAT, while developing automated tests using Playwright and collaborating with agile development teams to ensure quality across complex .NET full‑stack applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in software testing and QA.
• Strong functional testing across manual, integration and regression testing.
• Hands-on testing of complex .NET/full-stack apps.
• Experience writing automated tests with Playwright.
• Proficient with Azure DevOps for test management and defects.
• Knowledge of SQL for data queries and updates.
• Agile environment experience; strong problem solving and communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute functional, integration, system, UAT, regression and release testing.
• Develop, manage, and execute manual test cases and scenarios.
• Write and maintain automated tests using Playwright.
• Test complex .NET/full-stack web apps; log and track defects.
• Use SQL to run queries and update data; verify changes.
• Collaborate with developers in an Agile setup; communicate risks and quality concerns.
• Support regression testing, release validation, and production issue investigations.
• Contribute to test docs and continuous improvement of testing processes.
