Job summary

Vantage Resources is seeking a Performance Tester for a 12-month contract in South Dublin. You will work with delivery teams to define performance criteria, scope testing activities, and develop scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter.

You will implement complex frontend and backend tests in Java, configure test environments across Windows and UNIX/Linux, and execute loads including soak, stress, and scalability to capture key metrics and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in performance testing.
• Hands-on with LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
• Programming in Java; scripting in Perl and Python.

Responsibilities

• Gather system requirements and performance criteria from delivery teams.
• Define the scope of performance testing activities.

What's involved:

• Set up and configure test environments across Windows and UNIX/Linux platforms.
• Experience of Load, Soak, Scalability and Stress performance testing.
• Execute performance tests and capture critical performance metrics.
• Monitor system performance and solutions

What you need:

• 7 + Years experience in a similar position
• Strong Performance testing experience
• Experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, Unix/ Linux
• Programming language Java
• Scripting Perl/ Python
