Job summary

RECRUITERS in Dublin is seeking an experienced International Payroll Project Specialist – EMEA for a fixed-term contract to drive payroll transitions, new system implementations and vendor changes across the region.

You will lead end-to-end activities, develop testing strategies, ensure payroll accuracy and go-live delivery, and create SOPs while partnering with Payroll, HR, Finance and external vendors. Hybrid work arrangement in Dublin 2 is available.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering payroll transitions and implementations.
• Operational payroll expertise in NL, BE and DE.
• Experience with payroll testing, validation and vendor migrations.
• Knowledge of gross-to-net processing, statutory reporting and audit requirements.

International Payroll Project Specialist – EMEA (Contract)

My client is a multinational financial technology company providing innovative solutions to financial institutions around the world. We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Transition Specialist to support complex payroll transformation initiatives across EMEA.

This is a hands-on delivery role focused on payroll transitions, new system implementations, vendor changes, testing, documentation, training, and operational stabilisation.

What will I be doing?

• Lead end-to-end payroll transition and implementation activities
• Develop and execute payroll testing strategies, UAT, validation, and parallel runs
• Ensure payroll accuracy, reconciliation, and successful go-live delivery
• Create payroll SOPs, procedures, and operational documentation
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to payroll teams
• Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, and external vendors to drive successful outcomes
• Embed payroll controls, compliance requirements, and audit-ready processes

What experience do I need to be eligible?

• Proven experience delivering payroll transitions and implementations initiatives in the past
• Strong operational payroll expertise in Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
• Hands-on experience with payroll testing, parallel runs, data validation, reconciliation, and vendor/platform migrations
• Strong understanding of gross-to-net processing, statutory reporting, payroll controls, and audit requirements
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced, complex environments

This opportunity is a fixed term contract currently ending March 2027, in Dublin 2 with hybrid option available.
