Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment seeks an experienced Senior Oracle specialist to join a Regulatory Reporting Technology team on a 6-month contract. You will lead the engineering approach, design and development of solutions supporting a critical regulatory platform.

You will work with global technology and business teams, providing technical leadership and delivering complex Oracle-based software within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in software development.
• Strong experience with Oracle and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Informatica, Java, Spring, Angular and Autosys is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC and JIRA.
• Experience working within large organisations, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex software solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex Oracle-based technology solutions.
• Work hands-on across the full software development lifecycle.
• Develop and support end-to-end solutions in line with enterprise architecture and technology standards.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to development teams.
• Design reusable frameworks, interfaces and complex components.
• Support technical design reviews, code reviews and best practice development.
• Contribute to test strategy and automation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technology partners and third-party vendors.
