Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle specialist to join a Regulatory Reporting Technology team on a 6-month contract. You will lead the engineering approach, design and development of technology solutions for a critical regulatory reporting platform.

You'll work closely with global technology and business teams, delivering complex solutions in an Agile environment, providing technical leadership and mentoring to delivery teams across the full SDLC.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in software development.
• Strong experience with Oracle and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Informatica, Java, Spring, Angular and Autosys is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC and JIRA.
• Experience working within large organisations, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex software solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex Oracle-based technology solutions
• Work hands-on across the full software development lifecycle
• Develop and support end-to-end solutions in line with enterprise architecture and technology standards
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to development teams
• Design reusable frameworks, interfaces and complex components
• Support technical design reviews, code reviews and best practice development
• Contribute to test strategy and automation initiatives
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technology partners and third-party vendors
