Job summary

ESB is seeking a Senior Offshore Wind Foundations Specialist to provide technical leadership across its offshore wind portfolio. You will lead foundation design, package management, certification and fabrication management for large offshore structures from development through procurement and construction.

Based in Ireland with flexible hybrid working, you will mentor engineers, manage design interfaces and interact with stakeholders, suppliers and contractors to optimise cost, risk and delivery.

Qualifications

• Level 8 degree in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
• Typically 10+ years relevant experience incl. offshore foundation design and design management.
• Extensive knowledge of fixed offshore foundation systems (monopiles, jackets) and relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as ESB’s senior technical authority for offshore wind foundations, setting technical direction and ensuring safe, certifiable designs.
• Lead foundation concept selection, design strategy and technical reviews across fixed-bottom solutions.
• Manage high-value foundation design, package and fabrication contracts from scope development to performance.
