Job summary

Entech Technical Solutions Ltd. in Ireland seeks a Senior Offshore Wind Foundations Specialist to provide technical leadership across major offshore wind projects.

The role focuses on design, procurement, certification and delivery of offshore wind foundations, spanning development through fabrication, construction and operation. You will drive design interfaces, manage risks and coordinate with stakeholders and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Significant offshore foundation design and design management experience.
• Extensive offshore monopiles, jackets and large offshore structures experience.
• Experience managing foundation packages and fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of foundation design codes, standards and certification.
• Experience with fabrication, QA, constructability and interfaces.

Job description

Location: Dublin or Cork, with regular travel to project locations across Ireland.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Offshore Wind Foundations Specialist to provide technical leadership across major offshore wind projects.

This is a senior technical role focused on the design, procurement, certification and delivery of offshore wind foundations, working across the full project lifecycle from early development through to fabrication, construction and operations.

The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in offshore foundation design, combined with practical experience managing foundation packages, fabrication and complex engineering interfaces.

Requirements:

• A degree in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Relevant engineering experience, including significant offshore foundation design and design management experience.
• Strong experience with offshore monopiles, jackets and large offshore structures.
• Experience managing foundation packages and\/or fabrication of large offshore structures.
• Strong understanding of foundation design codes, standards and certification requirements.
• Experience across primary and secondary steel, fatigue, corrosion protection, materials, welding, FEA and environmental loading.
• Practical understanding of fabrication, quality control, constructability and transport and installation interfaces.
• Experience managing engineering requirements through procurement and fabrication.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing technical risks, costs, programme, quality and contractor performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior technical and project stakeholders.
