Job summary

Entech Technical Solutions Ltd. in Ireland seeks a Senior OSW T&I Specialist to provide strategic and technical leadership across offshore wind projects.

You will lead the development and assurance of transport and installation strategies, procurement approaches and campaign planning. The role requires strong stakeholder management, experience delivering large work packages, and travel across Ireland and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• A Level 8 degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive offshore transport and installation experience and track record leading major work packages.
• Strong understanding of offshore wind construction, vessels, ports, weather-risk management.
• Proven experience in T&I strategies and installation campaigns for offshore projects.
• Experience in procurement and commercial management of high-value marine contracts, tendering and contractor management.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary interfaces across foundations, turbines, cables and substations.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills; communicate risks to senior decision-makers.
• Willingness to travel internationally with valid passport and driving licence.

Job description

Location: Dublin or Cork, with regular travel to project locations across Ireland.

We are actively hiring a Senior OSW T&I Specialist to provide strategic and technical leadership across offshore wind projects.

The role will lead the development and assurance of transport and installation strategies, contracting approaches, campaign planning and key interfaces across major offshore wind projects, covering foundations, turbines, cables and offshore substations. The successful candidate will provide senior technical authority, lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex technical and commercial risks, and influence project decisions at a senior level.

Requirements:

• Relevant Level 8 degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional experience, including substantial offshore transport and installation experience and experience leading major work packages, teams or technical functions.
• Strong understanding of offshore wind construction and logistics, including installation vessels, specialist equipment, ports, marshalling, offshore operations and weather-risk management.
• Proven experience developing and delivering T&I strategies and installation campaigns for major offshore wind, oil and gas or marine infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in procurement and commercial management of high-value marine or installation contracts, including tendering, negotiation, cost development and contractor management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical interfaces across foundations, turbines, cables, offshore substations, consenting, design, fabrication, procurement, construction and operations.
• Strong understanding of technical assurance, campaign planning, installation methodology, vessel and equipment selection, logistics, programme, cost and contracting strategy.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical, safety, programme and commercial risks to senior decision-makers.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally, with a valid passport and driving licence.
