Job summary

Qualifications

• Specialist Registration in Occupational Medicine.
• MFOM/FFOM/LFOM qualifications expected.
• Substantial experience in Occupational Medicine.
• Experience conducting fitness-for-work assessments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage complex clinical cases with practical workplace health solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert Occupational Health assessments and clinical advice to employers and employees.
• Conduct fitness-for-work assessments and advise on workplace adjustments.
• Manage complex occupational health cases, sickness absence reviews, and return-to-work programmes.
• Deliver evidence-based guidance on workplace health, wellbeing, and risk management.
• Assess occupational exposures and their impact on employee health.
• Support health surveillance programmes and pre-employment medical assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, HR departments, and management stakeholders.
• Contribute to clinical governance, service development, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional and regulatory requirements.
