Optima Health (OH&W) is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Physician to join our team in Northern Ireland. This hybrid role combines onsite delivery with home working and offers a competitive salary of up to £135,000 (FTE) per annum, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Occupational Medicine and have full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC). We offer a supportive mentorship program and numerous benefits including 25 days annual leave, life assurance, and a pension scheme.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Physician to join our team. The role is hybrid, requiring support across Northern Ireland with both onsite delivery and home working.

You Will Be Required To Carry Out

• Conduct telephone and face‑to‑face consultations
• Sickness absence management
• Attendance and performance case management
• Ill‑health retirement advice
• Pre‑placement consultations
• Health surveillance
• HAVs Tier 4 assessments

This position is ideal for a Doctor who has completed a Diploma in Occupational Medicine and seeks to transition into Occupational Health. Our mentorship programme provides full training and one‑to‑one support during the first year.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Diploma in Occupational Medicine (Dip Occ Med) or AFOM/MFOM
• Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
• Medical Practitioner who, since full registration, has consolidated their skills and pursued continuing medical education in line with Revalidation requirements
