Job summary

eir business talent is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a day rate contract in Ireland with Dublin/Cork location. The role is mostly remote with occasional travel to Cork or Dublin. You will join an established programme team delivering hands-on network and security engineering in a complex enterprise environment.

This technical delivery role focuses on deployment, troubleshooting and problem resolution, working directly with technology and designs while remaining hands-on at a senior level.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Palo Alto experience (deployment, configuration, troubleshooting).
• Cisco SD-WAN experience including basic deployment and support.
• Strong general enterprise networking knowledge.
• Good understanding of network security and firewall technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.

eir business talent are currently seeking applicants for a Senior Network Engineer. This is a day rate contract position located with our client in Dublin/Cork. This is a mostly remote role with occasional travel required to either their Cork or Dublin site.

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join an established programme team, providing hands‑on network and security engineering support across a complex enterprise environment.
This is a technical delivery role, not an architecture or strategy position. You’ll be expected to work directly with the technology, troubleshoot issues independently and take problems through to resolution.

What you’ll be doing

• Deploying, configuring and troubleshooting Palo Alto firewalls
• Supporting Cisco SD-WAN infrastructure and connectivity
• Diagnosing and resolving network and security issues independently
