We're working with a technology-driven organisation operating highly resilient, performance-critical infrastructure where network reliability, speed and precision are fundamental to the business. They are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join their Dublin-based infrastructure team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working in technically demanding environments, solving complex network problems and continuously improving performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will come from a low-latency, high-performance or highly available technology environment - for example electronic trading, financial technology, telecommunications, high-frequency systems, data centres or another organisation where network performance is business-critical.
You'll be responsible for operating, maintaining and improving a sophisticated production network environment, working closely with infrastructure, SRE and data centre teams. The role combines day-to-day operational ownership with project and engineering work, including network deployments, upgrades, troubleshooting, capacity planning and performance optimisation. You'll also play an important role in ensuring the organisation's infrastructure is operationally ready ahead of key business activity across different time zones.
