Job summary
Collins McNicholas Recruitment & HR Services Group is seeking a Senior Networking Consultant to join an established Enterprise Infrastructure team onsite in County Roscommon. The role focuses on the design, implementation, support and optimisation of secure, resilient enterprise networks across multi-vendor environments.
The successful candidate will own technical activities from investigation through implementation and handover, resolving complex issues while mentoring peers and contributing to
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in network engineering or comparable technical role.
- Strong practical experience supporting and troubleshooting network infrastructure.
- Experience with multiple networking and security vendors.
- Experience in ISP/MSP/enterprise IT or telecom environments.
- Proven ability to resolve complex escalations.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, implement and support enterprise network solutions.
- Configure and deploy networking, routing, switching, connectivity and security tech.
- Support wired and wireless network infrastructure and WAN connectivity.
- Lead and support network installations, upgrades, migrations and changes.
- Diagnose and resolve complex routing, switching and VPN issues.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers.
