Job summary

Jobgether in partnership with an Irish-based client seeks a senior .NET Core and Python Web Developer to build and support enterprise-grade backend services. You will work on REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native apps deployed in Microsoft Azure, with a focus on backend and API development.

You will collaborate with architects, QA, product, DevOps, and engineering teams in an Agile environment to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable business applications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with .NET and .NET Core.
• 4+ years of Python application development experience in web/backend/API/microservices.
• 4+ years of experience with Azure-based microservices and cloud-native apps.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server and/or Azure SQL, including queries and stored procedures.
• 5+ years of hands-on Azure DevOps experience with CI/CD and release pipelines.
• Strong proficiency with Git, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with object-oriented design, architecture patterns, and debugging production apps.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET Core and Python.
• Build scalable backend services, REST APIs, and microservices for enterprise apps.
• Develop and support Azure-based microservices and cloud-native applications.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs across enterprise platforms.
