Job summary

Solas IT Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to lead design and development of modern distributed applications. This hands-on technical leader will mentor engineers, influence architecture, and promote engineering excellence across teams.

You will deliver cloud-native solutions built on .NET Core, with a focus on microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures, ensuring maintainable, observable software in production.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of commercial software development experience with .NET and C#.
• Strong expertise in .NET Core and modern backend application development.
• Proven experience designing and building message-driven distributed systems.
• Solid background working with microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns.
• Experience implementing industry best practices for application design and coding standards.
• Ability to influence technical direction and deliver innovative solutions.
• Capable of working effectively in fast-paced environments and meeting challenging deadlines.
• Self-driven with a proactive approach and the ability to lead by example.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance applications using .NET Core and C#.
• Drive architectural decisions across distributed systems and microservices-based platforms.
