Job summary

Integrity360 is seeking a Principal Microsoft Purview Consultant to lead design and delivery of Purview engagements. You’ll focus on data classification, information protection, DLP, and AI data protection while translating client requirements into practical security controls and phased deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention and related Microsoft 365 compliance capabilities.
• Experience designing and implementing sensitivity labels, label policies, encryption, watermarking, access controls and information protection governance.
• Practical knowledge of data classification strategy, label taxonomy design, Sensitive Information Types, trainable classifiers, custom classification approaches and how classification supports sensitivity labelling, DLP and auto-labelling.
• Experience designing, deploying and testing Microsoft Purview DLP policies across Microsoft 365 workloads and endpoints.
• Understanding of endpoint DLP concepts, including restricted apps, browser restrictions, service domains, removable media, clipboard, print and file upload controls.
• Knowledge of Insider Risk Management concepts, including risk indicators, policy design, alerts, investigation workflows and alignment with DLP activity.
• Ability to translate client business requirements into practical, testable and proportionate Microsoft Purview control designs.
• Experience delivering controlled pilots or phased deployments, including testing, tuning, user communications, knowledge transfer and post-pilot recommendations.
• Ability to produce clear client-facing documentation, including design decisions, configuration records, test evidence, findings, recommendations and handover materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead Purview design and implementation engagements focused on information protection, DLP and AI data protection.
• Run discovery workshops to understand data types, processes, risks, regulatory drivers and success criteria.
• Design data classification strategies and label taxonomies with governance requirements.
• Assess Purview configurations, document gaps, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Design and configure sensitivity labels, label policies, encryption and access controls.
• Review and tune Sensitive Information Types, trainable classifiers and custom classification logic.
• Design and support auto-labelling pilots for emails, files and workloads.
• Configure Purview DLP policies across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and endpoints.
• Implement AI data protection controls to monitor and restrict data exposure to AI services.
• Configure endpoint DLP controls and related workflows including alerting and reporting.
• Design and validate DLP workflows including audit, block, override and user notifications.
• Configure and demonstrate Insider Risk Management scenarios aligned to policies and investigations.
• Use Purview tools to validate control effectiveness and support knowledge transfer.
• Produce client-facing deliverables and handover materials.
• Collaborate with clients and teams to manage dependencies and risks.
• Contribute to templates, playbooks and internal standards for Purview and security services.
