Northern Trust seeks a Data Protection - Data Discovery & Remediation Senior Lead to drive control compliance across cloud and on-premise environments. You will guide application risk reviews, define risk treatment activities, and act as an InfoSec SME for Azure and AWS deployments, working with business stakeholders to balance risk and value.

The role demands cross-functional collaboration, strong knowledge of SSDLC, and a track record of delivering pragmatic, cost-effective security solutions

Formación

• Broad security architecture experience with hands-on solution delivery.
• Experience in technology risk and security risk management roles.
• Extensive cloud technology experience (hybrid environments).
• Ability to conduct architecture reviews and threat modelling (STRIDE).
• Experience developing detective controls (regex, pattern matching).

Responsabilidades

• Offer guidance across businesses to drive awareness of technology risk and controls.
• Develop and administer detective controls for scalability, performance, and data integrity.
• Deliver security solutions for Data Protection Engineering and Architecture.
• Evaluate feasibility, requirements, and solution proposals.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture as needed.
• Review documentation and processes for automation opportunities.
• Operate independently with deep knowledge of the business unit.
• Lead application risk reviews and risk treatment activities.
• Act as an InfoSec SME focused on cloud application security in Azure & AWS.
• Maintain specialist knowledge in security processes and frameworks.
• Represent Information Security with stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
