Job summary

Ekco is seeking an experienced Microsoft Security Consultant to help enterprise and regulated clients assess, design and implement secure Microsoft cloud solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure and hybrid environments. You will lead security envisioning workshops, guide pre-sales through delivery, and communicate recommendations to both technical and executive stakeholders.

This is a remote-based role with a preference for applicants based in Ireland, particularly Dublin, with occasional

Qualifications

• Minimum four years in information security with Microsoft 365/Azure or hybrid environments.
• Hands-on with Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Entra ID and Purview.
• Translate business and regulatory needs into security designs and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead security envisioning and design workshops with clients.
• Assess, design, implement and optimize Microsoft security across 365, Azure and hybrid environments.
• Translate requirements into practical architectures and runbooks.
• Configure and integrate security controls across identity, endpoints, email, data protection and security operations.
• Produce architecture diagrams, implementation docs, and executive-ready recommendations.
