Job summary

Blackedge Consulting is seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join its Dublin team. You will work with senior directors on complex public and private sector projects across Ireland, focusing on MEP cost management in pre- and post-contract environments.

You’ll prepare cost plans, budgets and client reports, produce Bills of Quantities for M&E works, and support procurement, tender analysis, and change control while collaborating with clients and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Experience in MEP/Building Services QS.
• Strong cost control and commercial management knowledge.
• Irish public sector MEP procurement knowledge is a plus.
• PW-CF1/PW-CF5 familiarity is useful.
• Chartered or progressing toward Chartership (SCSI or equivalent).
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Valid driving licence and ability to Garda vetting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost plans, budgets and client reports.
• Produce Bills of Quantities for M&E works.
• Support MV/HV infrastructure projects.
• Pre-contract estimating and tender analysis.
• Bid levelling and procurement support.
• Handle claims and change control.
