Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager MSM & IRL, potentially based across Europe including Ireland. You will lead distributor relationships, set pricing and commercial plans, and drive growth across markets with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong commercial focus, negotiation skills, and travel up to 30% across the region; fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in medical devices, healthcare, or pharma.
• Experience with distributor/partner management and channel sales.
• Strong ability to set objectives, annual plans, targets and KPIs.
• Proven negotiation, pricing, contracting and deal-structuring skills.
• Data-driven with ability to analyze sales, pricing and market trends.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Finance, Operations, Regulatory and Compliance.
• Experience with product launches and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Lead distributor management and align with internal/external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributor partners; primary contact.
• Set pricing, sales targets, annual plans and KPIs for distributors.
• Monitor distributor performance and provide feedback and support.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure distributors are up-to-date with product knowledge and compliance.
• Lead portfolio improvements and innovative deal-making.
• Oversee contract renewals, terminations and performance clauses.
• Coordinate with operations for product availability and forecasting.
• Provide market intelligence to internal teams; support marketing strategies.
