Job summary

Johnson Controls Ireland HVAC is seeking an experienced Mechanical Test Engineer to lead validation and testing programs across data centre cooling products, including CRAH units and AHUs. The role involves designing test procedures, building rigs, and delivering technical results to stakeholders.

You will work with design, manufacturing and quality teams, ensuring testing aligns with industry standards, safety, and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product testing, validation engineering or laboratory engineering.
• Experience leading first of kind or new product validation activities.
• Hands-on, practical engineer with workshop and lab skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing programs for FWT with new and modified products.
• Develop test procedures for pressure, airflow, acoustics, leaks and filters.
• Design and build test rigs and data acquisition setups.
• Analyse results and present technical reports to customers.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, QA and customers on validation.
