Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Mechanical Test Engineer to lead testing activities for data centre cooling products, including CRAH units, AHUs, CDU systems and Fan Wall products. You will design and execute validation programs, develop test rigs, and communicate results to customers and stakeholders.

You will collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality and Customers to ensure accurate, safe and efficient testing, while driving continuous improvement in test facilities and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
5+ years in product testing, validation, or lab engineering.
Experience leading first-of-kind or new product validation activities.

Responsibilities

Develop test procedures for pressure, airflow, acoustic, leak testing.
Lead Factory Witness Test programs for new/modified products.
Analyse test results and prepare detailed reports.
Coordinate calibration and maintain test equipment.
Ensure tests comply with industry standards and procedures.
