Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Test Engineer to lead validation for data centre cooling products (CRAH units, AHUs, CDU systems, Fan Walls).

You will design and execute programmes, including pressure, acoustic, leak testing and overall system performance verification. Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will work with Design, Manufacturing, Quality and Customers to ensure safe, accurate and efficient testing while troubleshooting complex issues and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years' experience in product testing, design, validation engineering or laboratory engineering.
• Hands-on experience with testing rigs and measurement systems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of validation programs for data centre cooling products.
• Develop test procedures for pressure, acoustic, leak, and flow testing.
• Design and build test rigs and data acquisition setups.
• Analyze results and prepare detailed technical reports.
• Support FAT and customer witness testing and audits.
• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customers to embed validation requirements.
