Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Mechanical Test Engineer to lead validation across our data centre cooling product range, including CRAH units and AHUs. You will design and execute product validation programmes, perform pressure, acoustic and leak testing, and drive improvements in test methods and facilities.

You will report to the Mechanical Engineering Manager and collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality and Customers to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient testing, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in product testing, validation engineering or laboratory engineering.
• Hands-on experience with pressure, acoustic and leak testing in HVAC or data-centre cooling environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test procedures for pressure, airflow, acoustic performance, leak detection and filter testing.
• Design and build test rigs and setups to support validation activities.
• Lead FWT testing programs for new or modified products and present results to customers.
• Ensure testing complies with industry standards and company procedures.
• Provide technical support during project reviews and customer visits.
