Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join a leading Dublin mechanical services contractor on a flagship 250-unit residential development in Dundrum. You will oversee day-to-day mechanical installation works on site, ensuring safety, quality and programme adherence.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead mechanical subcontractors and direct labour, plan resources, coordinate with design teams and the main contractor, attend progress meetings and

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience delivering mechanical building services projects.
• Experience as Mechanical Site Manager, Mechanical Supervisor, Mechanical Foreman or Mechanical Chargehand.
• Experience on large-scale residential, commercial or industrial developments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, labour and site programmes.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Managing all mechanical installation works from first fix through to commissioning.
• Leading and coordinating mechanical subcontractors, direct labour and apprentices.
• Planning labour resources and daily site activities.
• Managing material procurement and deliveries.
• Coordinating works with the Project Manager, design team and main contractor.
• Attending coordination and progress meetings.
• Monitoring programme, productivity and quality.
• Resolving technical and site-related issues.
• Ensuring all works comply with health and safety standards.
