Job summary

Mechanical Contractor specialising in Residential Construction in Dublin is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day mechanical and plumbing works on residential projects across Dublin and Leinster.

You will coordinate direct labour and subcontractors, read drawings, ensure quality and safety, and report to Contracts Manager. A time-served trade background and full driving licence are required. A company van, fuel, devices and pension are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising mechanical or plumbing works on residential construction projects.
• Time-served plumbing or mechanical trade background required.
• Proven experience managing direct labour and subcontractors on site.
• Able to read mechanical drawings and coordinate installations.
• Full driving licence for travel between Dublin and Leinster projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day mechanical and plumbing installation works.
• Coordinate site operatives, subcontractors and materials to maintain programme.
• Review mechanical drawings and site information through Procore.
• Monitor quality and ensure installations meet project QA requirements.
• Maintain strong Health & Safety standards across mechanical works.
• Manage RFIs, progress updates and relevant site documentation.
• Liaise with Contracts Managers, Project Managers, consultants and suppliers.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
• Identify delays, variations and site issues and report them to the project team.
