Job summary

SA Group in Dublin seeks a Mechanical Project Manager to lead delivery of mechanical packages on residential developments. You will plan, coordinate and supervise site activities, liaising with clients, consultants and suppliers to ensure on-time, within-budget completion.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in mechanical building services, strong HVAC knowledge and a proven track record delivering apartment developments.

Qualifications

• Degree or trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years managing mechanical building services projects, residential experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and related building services systems.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, procurement and subcontractors.
• Experience delivering residential apartment or mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of mechanical packages from pre-construction through handover.
• Plan, programme and coordinate mechanical works to meet milestones.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers for productivity and quality.
• Review drawings and specs for compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor budgets, resources and procurement for cost-effective delivery.
• Chair site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and design teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Oversee QA/QC, testing, commissioning and snagging activities.
• Prepare project documentation and progress reports; support commercial team.
