Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a large-scale residential development in North Dublin. You will lead the project from construction through to completion, ensuring safety, timeliness and quality, reporting to the Contracts Manager.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years with a main contractor, strong knowledge of programming and commercial controls, and proven leadership of large site teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years' experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project programming and commercial controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all stages of project delivery, from project commencement to handover.
• Develop, manage and track detailed project programmes, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Oversee a large site team of up to 100 people, including direct staff and subcontractors.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and internal teams to ensure efficient project execution.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements at all times.
• Monitor budgets, control costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and value.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams and other key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify potential project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimise delays and cost impacts.
• Review and manage technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Carry out regular site inspections and progress reviews to confirm work is completed to programme, specification and quality expectations.
• Provide clear, timely project updates and reports to senior management.
