Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Central Engineering team. You will take a senior technical role on high-value data centre, pharmaceutical, life sciences and industrial projects, delivering from design through construction and handover.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years post-graduate experience, strong design and construction knowledge, and proficiency in BIM, Revit and related software. This role offers a competitive package and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of post-graduate experience in mechanical engineering.
• Experience in Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences or Industrial sectors.
• Strong design, technical and construction knowledge.
• Experience leading meetings and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of BIM, Revit and design software.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical design packages from initial review through procurement and site delivery
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and multidisciplinary teams
• Develop scopes of work, TIDPs and responsibility matrices
• Review designs for technical compliance, constructability and value engineering
• Coordinate Mechanical interfaces with CSA and Electrical disciplines
• Support project planning, procurement and design approvals
• Conduct site visits and monitor progress and quality
• Manage RFIs, design changes and technical documentation
• Provide technical guidance to construction teams
• Support tenders, PCSAs and project handovers

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Central Engineering team of a leading European construction and engineering organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity to take a senior technical role on high-value data centre, pharmaceutical, life sciences and industrial projects, supporting delivery from design through to construction and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage mechanical design packages from initial review through procurement and site delivery
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
• Develop scopes of work, TIDPs and responsibility matrices
• Review designs for technical compliance, constructability and value engineering
• Coordinate Mechanical interfaces with CSA and Electrical disciplines
