Breagh Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for data centre projects in Dublin. The role is based in Dublin with hybrid working, leading delivery of mechanical building services across complex projects.

You will own technical delivery, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure designs comply with industry standards and client requirements. A strong HVAC/building services background is essential.

• Lead mechanical design delivery across complex building services projects.

• Coordinate with electrical, architectural and structural teams.
• Carry out design reviews and quality control throughout the design process.
• Attend and lead technical meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure design intent is achieved during construction.
• Support commissioning strategy and system performance requirements.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and reporting.

The Role – Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

This is a senior level design role based in Dublin with hybrid working, focused on delivering high quality mechanical building services design across technically complex projects. You will take ownership of technical delivery while supporting coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

You will play a key role in ensuring designs are technically robust, compliant with industry standards, and aligned with client expectations. The position offers exposure to complex engineering systems and the opportunity to contribute to high value developments.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and engineering calculation software
• Strong understanding of design standards and regulations
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Detail focused with a strong commitment to quality and delivery
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment
