GPC - Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for the Dublin office. The role is hybrid, leading a team of engineers and delivering mechanical designs across varied projects while maintaining client satisfaction and profitability.

Responsibilities include design delivery, quality control, budget management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Benefits include a €75,000–€85,000 DOE salary, bonus, pension, and hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering detailed designs across the full design cycle.
• Expertise in Water Services, HVAC, Heating/LTHW, Fuel, drainage, and BMS.
• In-depth knowledge of Irish building regulations (TGD Part B, F, G, and L).
• Strong leadership in multi-project management and client satisfaction.

• Ensure quality control for Mechanical Engineering projects across all offices.
• Manage project budgets and cost control effectively.
• Lead project teams and cross-functional teams within the organization.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in delivering detailed designs throughout the full design cycle.
• Expertise in Mechanical design areas: Water Services, HVAC, Heating/LTHW, Fuel, drainage, and BMS.
• In-depth knowledge of Irish building regulations, particularly TGD Part B, F, G, and L, with proven application in design leadership.
• Skilled in managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining efficient work plans.
• Strong leadership in internal/external project management, ensuring client satisfaction, profitability, and upholding EDCs reputation for repeat business.
• Comprehensive understanding of multidisciplinary building design and installation, with excellent attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and commercial awareness.
