Ethos Engineering seeks a Senior Project Mechanical Design Engineer with 10+ years of experience to lead mechanical building services for data centre projects in the EMEA region. You will manage the full lifecycle from concept to handover, mentor junior staff, and maintain client relationships while ensuring design quality and contract adherence.

You will guide a multidisciplinary team, balance multiple projects, and report to senior management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical design experience in data centre or building services projects.
• Strong leadership and team mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and client-facing presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and workload of team members to optimise productivity.
• Guide decision-making with broad discipline knowledge across mechanical design.
• Build strong client relationships to deliver tailored, compliant solutions.
• Ensure contract terms are followed to control scope and quality.
• Delegate tasks strategically to maximise value and team engagement.
• Report progress to Management on project status and outcomes.
• Maintain quality control across deliverables and project milestones.
• Manage resource allocation and project execution for multiple schemes.
