Job summary

Ethos Engineering is seeking a Senior Project Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical services design for data centre projects. You will work independently and with the team to meet construction timelines, producing detailed schematics and budgets, and mentoring junior staff.

Candidates should have 10+ years in senior engineering roles with building services electrical design experience in data centres and strong knowledge of industry standards.

Qualifications

• Honours Degree required; Chartered an advantage.
• 10+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer.
• Electrical building services design experience in Data Centre projects.
• Deep knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques.
• Familiarity with ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN standards.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, REVIT an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Services design for a range of projects.
• Design and specify electrical services for buildings and sectors.
• Produce detailed schematics and budgets; monitor on-site installation.
• Develop design standards within the organisation.
• Mentor junior engineering staff; produce tender packages.
