Job summary

Ethos is a multidisciplinary consultancy delivering data centre and energy infrastructure across Europe. We seek a Senior Project Engineer – Electrical to lead live-data centre upgrades, manage complex retrofit programs, and mentor engineers while ensuring safe, high‑quality delivery in challenging environments.

You will coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to drive projects from concept through completion, focusing on resilience, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in building services engineering, with at least 3 years in data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartership.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical building services upgrades in live data centre environments.
• Develop retrofit design strategies including live-system tie‑ins and outage planning.
• Conduct due diligence of existing facilities (power, cooling, white space).
• Prepare and review design drawings, schematics, and tender docs.
• Mentor junior engineers and support client/contractor communications.
