Job summary

SSA Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Dublin office, delivering design work and coordinating technical projects across commercial, healthcare, residential and industrial sectors. You will contribute to design, project management and construction supervision.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach in a busy multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&E design.
• Strong communicator with client and contractor engagement.
• Experience in design calculations, reports and specifications.
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations and environmental requirements.

My Client are a highly regarded M&E Design Consultancy who are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to undertake design work and technical project co-ordination in their Dublin office.

The successful Mechanical Engineer will be a part of a busy team providing Design, Project Management and Construction Supervision of building projects across a range of commercial, healthcare, residential, industrial projects and more.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong technical ability in all aspects of Mechanical Engineering Services & Design
• Selecting materials, components, and manufacturing processes
• Reviewing and improving designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability
• Preparing technical reports, design calculations and specifications
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and environmental requirements
• Experience of client, vendor & contractor interaction & management
• Proactive, a good communicator with the ability to work well with others in a multifunctional project team
• Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy
