Job summary

Amazon Web Services' Hardware Engineering team is seeking Manufacturing Engineers to own the manufacturing launch and resolve process issues in a fast-paced, multi‑platform environment. You will drive production scale across a global network, own PFMEAs, Control Plans and process flows from startup to end of life, and collaborate with ODMs, CMs and component vendors.

Qualifications

6+ years of high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing experience.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering work with server platforms or high-tech hardware.
5+ years of product development experience.

Responsibilities

Scale up manufacturing on new products across a global network.
Lead and oversee quality control processes across CM, ODM, and component vendors
Deliver hands-on technical support during new product introductions and launches
Investigate and resolve customer escalations through comprehensive root cause analysis
Support global operations through regular domestic and international travel (25-50% of time)
