Job summary

Amazon Web Services' Hardware Engineering team in Europe is seeking Sr. Manufacturing Engineers to drive manufacturing launches for servers and racks across multiple sites.

You will own issues from design to production, collaborate with DP's, CMs and suppliers, and travel up to 50% to ensure on-site support and quality improvements. You will work with a diverse AWS team, enabling scalable production, driving root cause analysis, and ensuring timely resolutions while maintaining safety and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering work experience with server platforms or high-tech hardware.
• 5+ years working with manufacturing suppliers to improve incoming quality of systems.
• 5+ years experience reducing cycle time and improving labor efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing technical operations support at the DP.
• Provide On-Site support to new product launches as well as sustaining issues.
• Design in quality and manufacturability on new designs of servers and racks.
• Root cause customer impacting issues and drive resolution.
