Job summary

Amazon Web Services' Hardware Engineering team is seeking Manufacturing Test Engineers to own the end-to-end test ecosystem for server hardware, drive automation to improve yield and uptime, and partner on NPI/test solution development with ODMs/CMs. You will analyze production data to identify trends and implement scalable test processes across a global production network.

Qualifications

• Experience programming with modern languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Go, PowerShell, Ruby
• 2+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• 4+ years of systems development in an IT or data center environment
• 4+ years of deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment
• 2+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement
• Experience leading the design, build and deployment of complex and scalable software solutions in production

Responsibilities

• Own the Manufacturing Test Ecosystem - Architect, develop, and sustain the end-to-end test infrastructure for Server hardware through System-level Rack integration.
• Drive Automation, Yield & Uptime - Develop automated test processes to reduce manual intervention, increase throughput, and improve first-pass & final-pass yield.
• Define Test Strategy & Analyze Production Data - Establish modular test strategies by establishing SPC limits and analyzing production data for trends.
• Support NPI & Provide DFx Feedback - Partner on test solution development from ODMs to enable efficient production ramp.
• Collaborate & Guide Test infrastructure across ODM/CM sites - Align test requirements across teams and drive test time optimization and DFx feedback
