Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Mfg Ops Engineer to manage contract manufacturing vendor relationships and drive operational excellence across AWS servers and rack integration. You will lead end-to-end strategic partnerships with CM/OEM/ODM vendors, optimizing cost, quality, capacity, and delivery while ensuring sustainable manufacturing capacity for global data centers.

You will act as the primary escalation point for vendor issues, manage material flow, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau) is essential.
Experience engaging and influencing senior executives and cross-functional teams is required.
Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day vendor management for high-velocity assembly operations.
Escalate and coordinate for production, engineering, and quality issues with vendors.
Drive metrics-based continuous improvement and CAPA activities across the supplier base.
Lead optimization of material flow, logistics, and BOM deployment at manufacturing sites.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and cost reductions.
