Job summary

Amazon Web Services' Hardware Engineering team is seeking experienced Manufacturing Engineers to own manufacturing launches and resolve process issues onsite in Ireland. You will work with ODMs, CMs and suppliers to scale production while meeting throughput and quality targets.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience.
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering work experience with server platforms or on high-tech hardware.
• 5+ years of product development experience.

Responsibilities

• Scale up manufacturing on new products across a global network.
• Lead and oversee quality control processes across CM, ODM, and component vendors.
• Deliver hands-on technical support during new product introductions and launches.
• Investigate and resolve customer escalations through root cause analysis.
• Manage incoming, in-process and outgoing quality and collaborate with supplier quality teams for RCCA at upstream suppliers.
• Drive ORR and Ok2Ship for Manufacturing site readiness assessment.
• Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement framework between sites.
• Support local operations by being in the factory daily and travel up to 25%.
