Job summary

Amazon Development Centre Ireland Limited in Ireland is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to help scale production of server and rack designs across Europe. You will own manufacturing launches, work with DP's, CMs, and suppliers, and travel up to 50% to site locations.

The role emphasizes on-site technical operations, design-for-manufacturability, root-cause analysis, and delivering high quality hardware at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience with server platforms or high-tech hardware.
• 5+ years working with manufacturing suppliers to improve incoming quality.
• 5+ years experience reducing cycle time and improving labor efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing technical operations support at the DP.
• Provide On-Site support to new product launches as well as sustaining issues.
• Design in quality and manufacturability on new designs of servers and racks.
• Root cause customer impacting issues and drive resolution.

Education

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or similar related field or equivalent experience
