CareerWise Recruitment seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for a leading multinational in West Cork on a 12-month contract with a highly competitive hourly rate. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert in technical engineering or automation and work with the site management team to develop and implement the future-state strategy, driving innovation and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering or Science discipline.
Minimum of 6 years’ manufacturing experience.
Recognised Lean qualification, ideally a black belt.
Proven Project Management skills.
Strong CNC machining expertise desirable.

Responsabilités

Contribute and input into the Engineering functional strategy.
Champion operations excellence across the site.
Plan and conduct engineering research design.
Plan and conduct significant engineering and lean initiatives.
Standardises and optimises best practices and procedures across sites.
Coordinates with other unit’s vendors and senior managers to meet costs, time and regulatory standards.
Communicates with business partners to resolve process and product issues.
Evaluates the results of projects and provides manufacturing guidance and assistance as required.
