The successful candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a technical, engineering, or automation. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the site management team to develop and implement the site’s future-state strategy, driving innovation and operational excellence.

• Contribute and input into the Engineering functional strategy
• Champion operations excellence across the site
• Plans and conducts engineering research design
• Plans and conducts significant engineering and lean initiatives
• Standardises and optimises best practices and procedures across sites
• Co-ordinates with other unit’s vendors and senior managers as needed to ensure specific cost, time and regulatory standards are met.
• Communicates with business partners to resolve process and product issues
• Evaluates the results of projects and provides manufacturing guidance and assistance as required
• Degree in relevant Engineering or Science discipline (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronic, Production or technical experience equivalency,
• Minimum of 6 years’ manufacturing experience
• Recognised Lean qualification, ideally a black belt
• Proven Project Management skills through the delivery of business critical projects
• Strong CNC machining expertise, this skill set would be highly desirable and would be considered a significant advantage.
